Discuss on Mr. Yang Ming's Explaination of "Matters Result from Ponderation and Meanings Result in Flowery Language

关于如何理解萧统《文选序》中“事出于沉思，义归乎翰藻”两句的含义，学 术界长期来意见纷坛，莫衷一是。后读杨明先生有关文章，在对两句含义 的总体把握上，彼此所见略同；唯觉杨文对某些局部问题的疏解，似尚有 可商榷之处。

With regard to the implications of 'Matters result from ponderation and mean- ings result in flowery language' from the preface of 'A Selection of Chinese Literary Works' edited by Xiao Tong(501-531) of the Liang dynasty, there have been many argu- ments in academic circles. After reading Mr. Yang Ming's concerned articles, basically I a- gree with him, but in sevral local places it seems to me there are questions to be discussed.
