我国西部地区的生产布局条件具有以下特征：（1）深入亚洲内陆，地域辽阔；（2）高原、盆地地形，囊括一二“阶梯”；（3）高寒、干燥、暖湿，气候类型多样；（4）河流、湖泊众多，水资源丰富；（5）能源、矿产齐全，开发潜能大；（6）少数民族聚集，人口密度小。

Abstract: The features of the production layout conditions in the western part of our country are as follows: l)Go deep into the Asian inland and vast in territory; 2) Highland and basin topography pocketing the 1st and 2nd 'Terrace' ;3)Frozen,arid and various climates;4)Numerous rivers and lakes and rich in water;5)Complete energy and mineral resources and great development potential; 6) The minority nationalities gathering there and small population.
