摘要
数学分析中极限理论的发展经历了一个很长的时期，无限分割的思想早在分元前5世纪就有了，以后西方的穷竭法与中国的割园术相继出现，从牛顿，莱布尼兹，直到波尔查诺，柯西与维尔斯特拉斯，极限理论经历了逐步发展直至最后完善的过程。
In mathematical analysis, the development of limit theory has undergone a quite long period. There was the thought of infinite exsisionaslongago as 500 B.C.. Then the method of exhaustion of west and the cyclotomy of China was produced in succession. The limit theory had progressively developed and finally improved from Newton and Leibniz to Bolzano, Cauchy and Weierstrass.
