Establishing open intelligent system is one of the goals of the cooperative design system. In this paper, an agent-based CSCW architecture model is presented on the basis of the analysis of existing models. Then the agent architecture is detailed and the characteristics of the model is discussed. Finally, An application example of the model is given.
