The xondition of switching off valve in determining content of CO,CO2 in ethylene by GC has been improved , one column replaced the two columns used originally and o[erating condition of chromatograph was optimized.The methpd has the xharacters that the o]eration is easy, the baseline is stable , the signal has no interferance with the test result. The method has high accuracy and good repeatability. It has more practical value in the indystry.
