Large Scale Cultivation of Cells for Tissue Engineering with Microcarrier Suspension Culture Technique

摘要 如何获得大规模、具有再生活力的种子细胞已经成为当前组织工程研究面临的最关键的限制性因素 ;针对这一限制性因素 ,研究人员对多个细胞培养系统进行了研究 ,其中包括微载体细胞培养系统 ,该系统最初主要用于细菌的大规模培养研究 ,但近年来的研究发现 ,微载体细胞培养系统也有助于种子细胞的体外大规模扩增 ; A critical component of engineered tissue renewal is the implantation of an adequate number of regeneration-component cells. Several culture systems had been explored to expand the number of cells for tissue engineering, one of them was the microcarrier suspension culture system. This culture system was based on the original 'bioreactor' designed to grow bacteria in large quantities. Resent studies indicated that microcarrier suspension culture system enhanced growth of cells for tissue engineering. This review summarized recent advances in research on large scale cultivation of cells for tissue engineering with microcarrier suspension culture technique.
