It is complicated and impossible to model the backfill quality of cemented backfill system using tailings as aggregate by common methods. The BP algorithm was used to model backfill quality. The simulation result shows that this method is feasible and effective, and the momentum constant and learning rate self adjusting method can speed the convergence of the BP algorithm.
