A new CAD system for designing bursting disc devices is presented.This system can optim ize the selection process of type,material and thickness of bursting disc,designing holders and other auxiliary equipment and autom atically drawing.The system has been put into practice and proved very useful to im prove designing efficiency and decrease design period.
