The medical literature, which belongs to a category of literatures with solid contents and reasonable argumentations, possesses accurate, rigorous, pithy, lucid and logical linguistic characteristics. This paper expounds the linguistic characteristics of the medical literatures in English from aspects of linguistic style, vocabulary, sentence structure, rhetoric, etc.
