简要回顾了我国纸浆模塑技术发展的过程及当前存在的问题，指出模具的设计与制造是影响纸浆模塑技术迅速发展的关键；介绍了快速成形新技术在其模具制造中的应用前景，并着重指出这将大大拓宽纸浆模塑技术在工业品包装中的应用范围，从而降低包装成本，消除白色污染，具有可观的经济效益和深远的社会效益。

The development and problems in the pulp-molding process in China are Briefly reviewed. It is pointed out that the crucial obstacle to the rapid development of pulp-molding technology is the backward mold designing and manufacturing. The application prospect of rapid prototyping technology in mold manufacturing is introduced, focusing on the estimation that this technology will promote the application of pulp-molding technology industrial packaging,which will lower the packaging cost, extinguish white pollution and brings about considerable economic and social results.
