Our country entering into WTO must have impact and influence on engineering cost fields. And the current situation of our country engineering cost consulting industry and the methods of engineering figuring price had already adapted the need of the development of market economy. So the author points out that profound reform must be carried out. Combined with author's analysis on current situation, in this paper the development state of oversea engineering cost consulting industry is introduced. Finally, some countermeasures are given.
