On Translation Context

翻译是在一定的语境中运作的，这种语境我们称之为翻译语境，它是由译者搬到翻译桌上的双语相关语境因素的总和，翻译语境制约着翻译的各个的具体运作。

Translation/translating is done within certain contexts,which are termed as the translation context.The translation context s the sum of all relevant contextis of the original text and the target language and culture brought together onto the translation desk by the translator.All stages of translation and all operation of translating are restricted by the translation context.
