The construction of modern residence in villages and small towns, from planning to single buliding design,is discussed in the area of the inberiting and continuous development of tradition and culture. Some probable and constructive desingn ideas are raised in the areas to accommodate the life style of resident in modern villagesand small towns. Some problems on tradition and innovation are discussed and probed.
