Discussion on Evaluation Methods of Engineering Suitability for Construction of Expressway Embankment

路堤填筑是高速公路路基工程的一个重要环节 ,路堤填土工程适宜性研究尤为重要。基于高速公路路堤填土工程性质的分析 ,提出了填土工程适宜性评价的一种方法 ,分析了其可行性和难点。以广东西部沿海高速公路某试验段为例 ,进行了工程适宜性评价。

The construction of expressway embankment is an important segment. The researches on engineering suitability of filled soil of embankment are more necessary. On the basis of the analysis of engineering properties of all kinds of soils ,this article puts up a method of evaluating the engineering suitable degree of filled soils, and analyzes the feasibility and difficulties of the method, and at last centeres on the example of the western coast of Guangdong Province, studies the engineering suitable degree of five soils, all of which would supply the new theory base for the embankment construction.
