PMD has become the main limiting factors on the high speed long distance optical networks. Firstly this paper analyzed the causes of PMD generation,then it built a theoretical model about PMD .On the basis of these, it described a simultaneous multi channel PMD equalization scheme for all optical DWDM networks.
