The impacts of Ortho-Lens on the tear film

探讨配戴夜戴型OK镜对泪膜的影响。方法 :随访 6 0名OK镜志愿配戴者 ,检测其泪膜BUT及Shirmers′s 1试验 ,并与正常人群相比较。结果 :OK镜配戴组泪膜BUT为 5 0 4± 3 45秒 ,对照组为 14 79± 5 41秒 ,二组具有非常显著性差别 (P <0 0 0 1) ;Shirmer′s 1配戴组与正常人群相比无统计学意义 ;配戴组不同性别与不同年龄段的BUT和Shirmer′s 1相比较无统计学意义 (P >0 5及P >0 1) ;配戴 1年组与二年组的BUT和Shirmer′s 1相比较 ,无统计学意义 (P >0 1)。结论 :配戴夜戴型OK镜对泪膜有损伤。

Objective:To evaluate the impacts of overnight ortho lens (Oklens) on the tear film. Methods:60 volunteers who had worn ortho lens for 1～2 years were followed up.The tear film break up time (BUT) and Schirmer′s test were checked and the results were compared with the normal controls. Results:The difference in BUT between the Oklens group (5 04±3 45) and the normal groups (14 79±5 41) was significant (P<0 001),but the difference in the Schirmer′s test between the two groups (P>0 05) was not significant.The differences in BUT and Schirmer′s test among the ages,between females and males,and between one year wearers and two year wearers within the Oklens group were not significant (P>0 05). Conclusions:The Oklens could cause some damages to the tear film.
