试论外语教师承担角色的多样性

On Various Roles of Foreign Language Teacher

在整个外语教育认识活动中 ,外语教师承担的角色决不仅仅是一个知识的传授者 ,其所承担的角色具有多样性 ;不仅传播语言知识 ,训练学生的语言技能 ,还传播文化知识。在课堂上 ,外语教师也不仅仅是一个演员 ,而是课堂活动的策划者、组织者。

A foreign language teacher should not just be one who passes on linguistic knowledge to students in the process of education, nor should he just be an actor in class. Instead, the roles he plays in class should be various. He should not only explain the language points and cultivate their ability to use the language knowledge, but also teach the students' the cultural knowledge and cultivate their intercultural communicative abilities. In class, a foreign language teacher is not only an actor but also a planner, an organizer, a participant and a judge of the class activities.
