摘要
培养跨文化交际能力是现代外语教学的发展趋势之一。而这一趋势也反映到我国外语教学的主要阵地即中学外语教学之中。这就要求外语教师要有丰富的跨文化知识和较强的跨文化交际能力。但调查表明中学外语教师的跨文化交际水平还远远不能满足现代外语教学的要求。因此应从主客观等多方面着手来丰富外语教师的跨文化知识、培养他们的跨文化意识 。
Language and culture, which are closely related with each other, are cardinal principles of human being, Cross-cultural awareness plays an important role in developing the communicative competence of foreign language. A qualified teacher of foreign languages should have rich knowledge of cross-culture and considerable cross-cultural awareness. But the result of the questionnaire investigation is not so satisfactory. A lot of remedial work should be done to foster qualified teachers of foreign languages.
