The production technologies, the properties and the application of ultrafine bicomponent fiber were described. The current situation of the exploitation and development of ultrafine bicomponent fiber was also introduced. And it was pointed out that the development of China ultrafine bicomponent fiber depends on the gradually improved domestic technologies and increased product exploitation power to establish series of technics.
