摘要
文章介绍了一种牌照数字字符识别预处理算法。该方法根据数字字符笔画的特点,进行模板细化,依据数字笔画的结构信息,构造笔画控制模板,得到图形化的单象素宽字符笔画。
This paper has studied a new preprocessing algorithm for the recognition of the numeral characters on the lincense plate. Based on the feature of the stroke pixels, we handily have the strokes thinning. Then according to the character structure information,we build an control template. By judging whether a control point on the template has a function,we at last acquire graphic characters whose stroke width has only one pixel. Expected results have been observed through experiments.
