视频图像的采集和处理在现代多媒体技术中占重要的地位。介绍了在Windows环境下,把CCD摄像头和视频卡与计算机相结合,进行视频捕获的技术细节，并将其应用到一个运动物体的识别系统中。

Video Capture is one of key techniques in multimedia system. Techniques of how to retrieve and process the digital image data are discussed in this paper. A moving objects detection system using this technique has been implemented and put into use.
