GN,an extract from a marine organism has the function of whitening skin.The mechanism of its whitening function was studied at cell level,and we found that there are three approaches by which GN can exert its function:① inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase;② repressing the growth of melanocyte;③ stimulating skin cell to produce lysosome to phagocytose the melanin.
