摘要
探讨英汉互译中的等值理论,由于两种语言的文化差异和表达方式不同,等值翻译只能是相对的。提出等值翻译是一个建立在比较科学的分析之上分为若干层次翻译的观点。
The paper probes into the theory of equivalence in English-Chinese or Chines-English translation, pointing out that because of the diversities of the two cultures and the difference in their figurative expressions, translation can only be relatively equivalent and stating that equivalent translation consists of several layers based on the scientific analysis.
