An Introduction of Greening Engineering Design of Sunan Canal Regulation Project

绿化工程是苏南运河整治工程中的一个组成部分。结合苏南运河沿线的气候、地形、地貌、人文景观等特点 ,从苏南运河绿化布局的要求入手 ,考虑到植物生物学、生态学及环境美学 ,阐述苏南运河绿化设计总体指导思想及各市的绿化特色。通过精心设计、合理布局 ,使苏南运河绿化与沿线的建筑、环境有机结合 ,取得了较好的综合效益。

Greening engineering is a part of Sunan Canal regulation project. In combination with the characteristics of the climate, topography, geomorphology and places of cultural interest, in accordance with the requirements of greenery arrangement of Sunan Canal, and under consideration of plant biology, ecology and environmental aesthetics, this paper gives an exposition on the overall guiding principle of greening design of Sunan Canal and the greening characteristics of each city. Due to meticulous design and rational arrangement, the greening of Sunan Canal is organically combined with the architecture and environment along the Canal and good comprehensive benefit has been achieved.
