苗族是典型的山地民族,分布于世界各地。中国是苗族的故乡,在历史发展的长河中形成了源远流长的具有典型的山地特征的苗族传统武术文化;运用文献资料法、专家访谈法、逻辑分析法等方法,对国内外关于苗族传统武术文化的研究成果进行分类研究,把握当前苗族传统武术文化的研究动态,为进一步研究苗族传统武术文化提供重要参考,也为苗族传统武术文化乃至山地民族传统体育文化的传承和发展提供重要理论依据。
