ＰｏｗｅｒＢｕｉｌｄｅｒ（以下简称ＰＢ）是目前国内广泛使用的基于客户／服务器（Ｃ／Ｓ）模式的数据库前端开发工具．它广泛应用于企事业单位内部的资源管理以及管理信息系统的开发．阐述了在ＰＢ中如何更好将Ｄａｔａ Ｗｉｎｄｏｗ与Ｗｉｎｄｏｗｓ ＡＰＩ函数结合，实现一些基础操作，以及在调用Ｗｉｎｄｏｗｓ ＡＰ函数时注意的问题．ＰＢ与Ｗｉｎｄｏｗｓ ＡＰＩ技术的恰当结合，将有助于提高ＰＢ开发程序的效率，完善应用系统，方便用户使用．

Power Builder is widely used as a tool for database development. Based on client/server mode (CJS), Power Buider is often applied to MIS (Management Information System) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Plan). This article discusses how to combine Data Window of PB with function of Windows API so that application can easily fulfil some fundamental tasks such as file access, keyboard manipulation and so on. More attention should be paid when call function of Windows API. Making full use of functions of Windows API in software development with PB will promote the ernciency of application, improve the system and be convenien for user's operation.
