残忍意识的出现和存在,除了政治的因素之外,还是一定历史时期内社会文化观念和文化心理的反映。残忍意识表现为残忍行为,有时是自觉的,有时是不自觉的。其实假说地狱中的各种酷刑多源自人间的暴虐行为,反过来又在现实中产生副作用。贞节观与因果报应现念合流,可以共同起到精神控制作用。

The emergence and existence of the brutalized mentality, apart from political factors' influence, reflects the level of social culture to some degree. Necessarily, the mentality is shown by brutal behaviors which occurs at times. So various cruel torture in Hell aroused from humanbeing's tyrannical act, which brings out side effects in the real world conversely. The conculsion of the author is that value of virginity and the law of retribution fuction as spiritual shackles.
