摘要 Hemoglobin(Hb) is important as an oxygen carrier. The trace amount of oxygen in Hb was reduced by an electrolytic method using hydrogen as an electron donor. The deoxygenated Hb(deoxyHb) was stable against heat treatment at 60 ℃ with little precipitant. This method is safe, fast, and would be of potential use for large scale purification of Hb.
