The structure, principle, features and compression algorithm of MSP50X3X Series synthesizer from TI USA and the development of low cost and super large capacity electronic voice caption and alarm system composed of 89C51 and MSP50P34 are introduced. The necessary environment to develop such system, the procedures of development, design strategy of software and hardware as well as the issues to be noted in development are described in detail.
