摘要 当前信息通信领域的两大热点———移动网与因特网都在以惊人的速度发展,两者的融合已成为业界的共识;未来电信网、计算机网和有线电视网将在更高的层次上得到统一。这些都势必对未来的图像通信提出新的需求和挑战。文章从逼真、高效、灵活、可靠、交互和安全几个方面,结合目前已提出的和正在进行研究的图像通信技术,探讨了图像通信未来的一些发展方向及其关键技术。 The integration of Cellular and IP network has been commonly un-derstood,and computer networks and CATV networks will be unified on high-er levels.All of these will raise new re-quirements and challenges to future im-age communications.Some future di-rections and key technologies of image communications are presented in this paper.
