The first 60 kt/a WSA plant in China is introduced for its characteristics of process and key equipment. The sulphuric acid plant uses H 2S from refinery as raw material to produce 98% H 2SO 4 with a SO 2 conversion of above 99% and SO 2 elimination conforming to national standard. Moreover, waste heat is fully utilized to generate 4.0 MPa, 450 ℃ steam.
