乳腺癌中p21^(WAF1)的表达

目的:探讨乳腺癌中p21WAF1的表达与细胞增殖活性及预后的关系。方法:采用免疫组化法检测p21WAF1在58例无淋巴结转移的乳腺癌中的表达,采用流式细胞术分析DNA含量。结果:在乳腺癌中p21WAF1的阳性率为43%,阳性反应产物见于瘤细胞核,p53阳性者的p21WAF1阳性表达率(54%)高于p53阴性者(35%),p21WAF1的表达与SPF(S期细胞比例)和患者预后无关。结论:乳腺癌中p21WAF1的表达不能作为判断肿瘤细胞增殖活性和患者预后的独立标志物。

ve:To investigate the relationship between p21WAF1 expression in breast cancer and the proliferative activity and the prognosis. Methods :p21WAF1 expression on 58 breast cancer specimens was detected by immunohistochemical method. DNA content was measured by flow cytometry. Results: Nuclear staining was observed in malignant cells in 43% of tumors. The accummulation of p53 was weakly but positively associated with p21WAF1 expression. There was no significant correlation with S-phase fraction and prognosis. Conclusion :p21WAF1 expression is not significantly associated with cell proliferation. p21WAF1 might not be an independently prognostic marker.
