Constructing digitized hospitals with Chinese characteristics

数字化医院是以网络化管理为基本模式 ,以信息为医院发展的基本动力 ,以信息技术为依托 ,增强医院的技术实力 ,以信息文化改变着人们教育、工作方式和思想观念的新兴群体形态 ,以信息化建设为医院发展的新的增长点。建设数字化医院是历史发展的必然 ,也具有现实可行性。我国医院信息化建设必须立足中国国情 ,建设有中国特色的数字化医院。总结数字化医院建设的实践经验 ,提出要按照数字化医院的要求制定总体目标 ,然后按计划分步实施。

A digitized hospital is one with network management as its basic mode, information as the primary driving force of its development, information technology as a prop to enhance its technological strength, information culture as a way to change the ways of peoples education and work and their ideological concepts, and construction of information systems as a new growth point of its advancement. While construction of digitized hospitals is a natural trend of historical development and is presently viable, construction of information systems in domestic hospitals must be based on Chinas realities so as to build digitized hospitals with Chinese characteristics. In light of their hospitals experience in building itself into a digitized hospital, the authors point out that it is necessary to formulate in the first place an overall objective in view of the requirements of digitized hospitals and then proceed step by step according to plan.
