摘要
本文提出一个实验方法,可以用来说明狭义相对论的质能关系。示波管中的电子在不同的加速电压作用下,获得不同的速率,具有不同的质量;在外加横向磁场中,其偏转量将不同。根据对加速电压和磁偏转量的测量,即可验证相对论的这一结论。
In this paper an experimental method has been presented,which can be used to explain the mass-energy relation of special relativity.Electrons in an oscillotron under different accelerating voltages acquire different speeds,showing different masses and reaching differ- ent deflections in an outer transverse magnetic field.Through the measuring of the accel- erating voltages and magnetic deflections,it will be found that the mass-energy relation-one of the conclusions derived from special relativity is true.
