Research on a Campus Network with High Performances

武汉理工大学校园网事实上是一个城域网 ,以武汉理工大学校园网扩建方案为背景 ,对构建高性能城域型校园网进行了深入的探讨。千兆以太网技术、第 3层交换技术和IPQoS相结合、网络策略业务管理已成为当前校园网体系结构的核心技术 ,只有采用新的网络技术才能满足日益增长的不同层次的各种需求。

Construction of a campus network with high performance should adopt modern network designing methods. The Gigabit Ethernet, the third layer switching technology combined with IPQoS and the network strategy management have become the kernel technologies in a campus network. These technologies are detailed and their applications in the design of a campus network are discussed.
