摘要
湘西生态旅游资源丰富多奇，现已成为国际国内旅游业发展的热点地区，但长期以来忽视了对旅游资源及其环境的保护，不适应２１世纪旅游可持续发展的需要，很有必要对湘西生态旅游进行研究分析，并提出生态旅游可持续发展的构想。
The eco-tourism resource is rich in Hunan western area an d has been a hot area of international and national tourism development.But the protection of resources and environment has not been emphasized and not fit for the need of sustainable development of to urism in the new century.After analyzing the necessity of developing eco-tourism in Hunan western area,the author puts furward some suggestion for it.
