In this paper a survey of the network database query methods is made.To meet the requirements of cooperation process planning,knowledge acceleration and reuse,the architecture of a Web based distributed network CAPP system,which includes four layers:data layer,business layer,presentation layer,and application layer,is proposed.The main functions of this system and the implementation of a Web based process data query module are described.
