Investigations on LIU Chan's being frustrated in the area of northwest Hubei to Hanzhong

刘禅流落民间的传言 ,古亦有之 ,宋后特甚。北宋李日方、扈蒙等学者将其搬上《太平御览》,致使其欺骗性尤强 ,不少人误以为真。本文批谬示误 ,指出其违背史实 ,不可相信。

The legend on LIU Chan's (last emperor of Shu) being stranded among the people was spread far and wide before Song Dynesty. After LI Fang and Hu Meng wrote the legend in lmperial Digest of Tai Ping Yu Lan, many more people were cheated by the legend. A lot of people mistook lies for truth. This article aims at criticizing errors and showing falsehoods,causing people not to believe the legend of violating historical facts.
