本文讨论了妇女地位的表现及我国妇女地位的概况 ;分析了今后生育水平持续稳定的不利因素及生育观念的转变成为计划生育工作的核心内容的必要性 ;提出了通过立法保障妇女权利、提高妇女地位将是生育观念转变的关键所在。

This article enumerates some aspects of women's status and makes a sursey of the condition of women in China. It analyses the factors that will affect the stability of the fertility level in future and the importance of the change of the view on Family Planning. And it argues that to protect women's rights and to elevate their status through legeslation is the premise to change their views on Family Planing.
