The Development of Electron Gun for 64 cm Color Picture Tube

为了改进聚焦和适应中屏幕CPT低成本的发展趋势,开发出一种用于64cm CPT的电子枪,这种电子枪是在现有大屏幕CPT电子枪的基础上开发出来的。由于大屏幕CPT电子枪的会聚帽采用横长孔,使该枪难以直接移植在中屏幕CPT中。通过重新设计会聚帽组件,增添磁场控制器和校正电极,使新电子枪可以与非消彗差偏转线圈配合,作到了低成本,同时获得良好的聚焦性能。

To improve the focus performance of middle-sized color picture tube (CPT) and suit to the trend of low cost, a new type of electron gun for 64 cm CPT is developed. The gun is based on the current gun used for the large screen CPT. The shield cup of large screen electron gun is of a horizontal slit structure which is difficult to be transplant to the middle-sized CPT. So we redesign the shield cup subassembly by adding a field controller and correct electrodes. The redesigned gun can be used for the 64 cm CPT with no coma-free deflection yoke. The new design improves the focus performance and almost need no extra cost.
