The incidence of insulinogenic hypoglycemia shock increased from 60% to 87.5% within 4h( P <0.05) after blocking α AR of rabbits with phentolamine. The results proved that the occurrence of insulinogenic hypoglycemia shock for rabbits can be accelerated by blocking α AR,indicating the α AR of rabbit played a role in the effect of glycogen decomposing under the condition of hypoglycemia.
