The minoryty people inhabitde Xiangxi is a centralized part of Hunan Provinec.Carrying out the strategy of sustainable development in this land is essential to its ecollgical balance,economic development,social stability and nationalities unity.This article analyses the present development situation and the exisiting problems of the area and puts forward some solutions and countermeasures to its various problems.
