发展小城镇第三产业经济是新世纪里加速我国农村城镇化进程,带动农村经济和社会发展的一项重要举措。本文从产业经济变化的角度介绍了中外第三产业发展的一般趋势,并着重探讨与分析了加快发展我国小城镇第三产业的必要性、可能性及其制约因素等相关问题,以便对当前农村经济的改革与发展能产生一定的启发意义。

To develop tertiary industry in China's small cities and towns is an important strategy of acceleratingurbanization and pushing progress of agriculture economy and society in new century. This article expounds tertiary indus-try is a current of world economy growth, and analyses some relevant problems on necessity and possibility of tertiary in-dustry development of small cities and towns in our country. The author wishes it can bring about some enlightenments ina way for reform and development of China's agriculture economy in near future.
