The historical evolution of the united front went through three stages in the period of the liberation wartime:the Anti-Japanese war national united front was transformed into the people's Democratic front from the August in 1945 to the June in 1946,the formation of the People's democratic front was developed from the June in 1946 to the May in 1948 and strengthen and won victory from the May in 1948 to the October in 1949. It showed that the united front was an important magic weapon,with which the Guo mintang reactionaries were defeated by the CPC.
