加快以“数字长江”为目标的信息化建设,就是要利用现代化手段采集基础信息数据,通过微波、超短波、光缆、卫星等安全可靠快捷传输方式,对流域内的水和与水相关的自然、工程、经济、社会等信息要素构建一体化的数字信息平台和虚拟、仿真环境,增强决策的科学性和预见性。

To accelerate establishment of informatiza-tion aimed at a 'Digitized Yangtze River', it shall collect basic data by means of modern method, and establish an integrated digital information platform, a virtual and emulating environment by using informative elements of water in the river basin and data related to water of natural, engineering, economic and social, in a manner of applying safety, reliable and fast transformation approaches of microwave, ultra short wave, optical fiber and satellite etc., so that a scien- tific and predictable decision-making can be achieved.
