Introduced hereby are the baoic structure and operation principle of WEB GIS, with analysis of the general structure and functions of the City Infrastructure Management Information System on the basis thereof. In addition, the spatial object is studied with ORACLE SPATIAL as an example, including the basic modes for access to spatial data. The way of developing such a system is also provided.
