In this paper the characteristics and features of spiral muffle pipe and clamp cast iron pipe for building wastewater drainage are described and compared. It is recommended that the cast iron pipe with flexible joint will be preferred for high rise buildings, residential houses and hotels. However for the restrooms of offices, schools and commercial buildings the PVC-U pipe might be convenient.
