介绍台湾铸造业的发展历史 ,目前的生产概况、发展趋势、组织机构和研究开发领域。台湾现有铸造厂点 80 0家 ,80 %是10 0人以下的中小企业 ,年产铸件 (2 0 0 0年 ) 12 0万吨 ,人均铸件拥有量 5 8公斤 ,每平方公里铸件产量 3 4吨 ,居全球首位。台湾有铸造研究机构 3个 ,大学院校 2 6所 ,主要从事实用技术和新材质。

The history,general situation,developing tendency,organization structure and researching territory of foundry trade in Taiwan have been introduced. Today, the number of existing commercial foundry is 800 or so in Taiwan. Of these factories 80 percent are middle or small companies. The yearly output of casting is 1,200,000 tons (in 2000), and per capital possesses 58 kg, the output per square kilometer is 34 tons, which is the first place all of the world. There are 3 research institutions on casting and 26 high education colleges here, they engage in the D&R of practical technology, new material and new craft.
