A Study of Carbonate Caprocks of Oil and Gas

本文探讨了碳酸盐岩盖层的封闭性,并对碳酸盐岩孔隙消失的成岩演变进行了分析。研究认为:碳酸盐岩在一定条件下,不仅可作油藏的盖层,而且可作气藏之盖层。另外,还对碳酸盐岩作盖层的条件进行了讨论。

This paper discusses the sealing properties of the carbonate caprocks and analyzes the diagenetic evolution leading to the disapperance of the pores in carbonate rocks. Through studying,it is considered that under a certain conditions the carbonate rocks can be taken as the caprocks not only for oil reserv- iors but also for gas ones. In addition, the conditions making carbonate rocks as caprocks are also dis- cussed.
