An Elementary Analysis on Intergenerational Property Transfer Mode in Various Marriage Forms in Rural Areas

本文应用父母投资回报假说 ,利用湖北省松滋的调查数据 ,分析了农村不同婚姻形式下家庭代际财富转移的模式及其形成机理 ,揭示了婚姻形式与家庭财富代际转移模式的密切关系 ,说明了招赘婚姻在农村家庭养老方面的积极意义。

Based on the data from Songzi, this paper analyses intergenerational property transfer mode in various marriage forms and its forming mechanism. It also illuminates the close relationships between marriage forms and intergenerational property transfer. It suggests that uxorilocal marriage has positive effects on supporting the old in rural families.
